What is RC&D?  Resource Conservation & Development Councils are a blend of private enterprise and government in a nonprofit public/private partnership. Program activities are initiated and directed by a volunteer Council consisting of local representatives of government, business, development organizations, non-profit organizations, conservation districts, and individuals. The chief government partner of the RC&D Council is the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The NRCS provides critical coordination and administrative support to the Northern Rocky Mountain RC&D.
