Community Development Programs. We assist communities in our three counties with economic development planning, affordable housing projects, water and wastewater projects, and community facility development.

Current Community Development Programs/Projects

Self-Help Housing Repair - We assist homeowners with critical repairs to their homes through a unique self-help program. Low interest loans and grants to assist income-qualified homeowners are available.  For more information on this program email Julianne Brown or call our Livingston office at 406-222-7227.

Affordable Housing Committee - The Northern Rocky Mountain RC&D's Housing Committee considers affordable housing projects for assistance that express the following core values: Demonstrated broad-based community support with an identifiable community benefit; demonstrated community to see the project through; and demonstrated ability to sustain affordability in the long term.  If you have an affordable housing project you wish to bring before the Housing Committee, fill out our Request For Assistance.  For more information on our Housing Programs and the Housing Committee click here.
